Geometry is abundant. Engineering understanding is scarce.
The defensible layer is the compiler, canonical identity, evidence graph and the history of human-approved outcomes—not another undifferentiated pile of CAD files.
Measure before claiming
WorldIR publishes deterministic benchmark results, null results and abstention. The agent arm once lost to arithmetic on part identification, so arithmetic kept the job.
Build knowledge source by source
“The entire internet” is not a measurable boundary. Coverage reports name eligible sources, rights outcomes, freshness and exclusions.
Make human authority explicit
Agents accelerate research, matching and drafting. People approve commitments and public claims with the evidence in view.
